WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY:

I contacted Mr. Richard Tripp from McMurray Renovations Ltd in May of 2014 for the purpose of installing a set of IKEA kitchen cupboards complete with sink/plumbing installation and some electrical outlet relocation.

The Project was done in a very timely, professional manner and any changes that had to be made besides what had been discussed was always brought to my attention by Richard before he proceeded with them.

Richard does very good quality work, delivers the finished product on time and is dependable and trustworthy. I had given Richard an extra challenge of assembling the IKEA kitchen package while I was asleep in the home after a week of nightshifts and he was very caring to work quietly each day not to wake me.

Overall I am very satisfied with the installation and workmanship Mr. Tripp put into this project and would not hesitate to hire him for any future projects.

Sincerely,

It is a pleasure to provide this letter of reference for Richard, who was enlisted to work on my condo renovation at Marina Estates, Squamish. Some qualities of a prospective hire are so obvious that anyone checking a reference would ask about them: is this person qualified, honest and reliable? The answer in Richard’s case is an unqualified yes for all three. However, there are other qualities that make Richard stand above.

Responsible: Richard will do what he says he will do, on the agreed day and at the agreed time. He will keep in contact with you as the work proceeds, and if you phone and get his voicemail, you will get a return call in a timely manner.

Proactive: When assessing work Richard consistently provides, in advance, the necessary information to ensure the best outcome for the client. If he feels your initial idea is flawed, he’ll tell you so, and why. It’s not just about getting paid for work, it’s about doing good work and arriving at the best result possible. In a similar vein, if it makes most sense to expand the work now to save aggravation later, you will be given that information so you can make an informed decision.

Design-minded: Richard has a good eye for proportions and balance. He takes the time to envision what the end product will look like and makes suggestions for improvement up front before the work begins. Budget Sensitive: If there is a way to save a client some money without compromise to quality, Richard will table the thought and let you decide.

Multi-talented: Richard has a wide range of skills to draw on when it comes to project work. I was absolutely satisfied with his abilities to install drywall, apply levelling compound and lay tile as well as with his basic and finish carpentry skills. He doesn’t just work . . . he “works smart”.

Safety aware: I noted that Richard was consistently aware of safety: first, personal and client safety at the job site and second, ensuring the finished job would meet all safety requirements.

Time Sensitive: When Richard arrives at the work site he gets right to it. He works steadily and efficiently, having brought the right equipment and tools to do so.

In summary Richard offers a remarkable collection of skills and characteristics, making it easy to recommend him most highly to others. I would be very happy to expand on any of the above should you wish to call me.

In November 2012 Richard turned our 80’s kitchen into a 21st century kitchen. Being in Fort McMurray, we had an array of contractors available but Richard was very professional and knowledgeable from the beginning. Richard did everything we wanted to be done in our kitchen from: – Removing 30 year old wallpaper – Painting – Tiles – Installing new appliances – Installing new plumbing – Electrical.

Not only is Richard knowledgeable but he is also honest. We felt comfortable leaving the house while he was working for a week. Richard will also work with you to identify and simplify your needs in order to get the best quality. Richard is also very safety conscious and advised us on how to make our home safer.

Even though Richard works alone and you are not going to get your renovation done in two days, he is definitely worth the wait because of the top quality job he can deliver. We are very satisfied with Richard’s work in our kitchen and we will definitely refer him to friends. We are also planning on using Richard for our Bathroom renovation.

Mr Richard Tripp was recently instrumental in managing / organizing / actively participating in and troubleshooting the construction of our 3700 square-foot Medical Clinic in Squamish BC. His participation was undeniably an invaluable contribution to the successful construction and implementation of our venture.

Richard’s extensive experience in the construction industry, his useful design background, and his innovative approaches certainly helped us to continually improve upon the initial project parameters in a seamless way throughout the construction, and likely saved us significant expense as well. He was willing to work long hours when necessary to meet specific deadlines, and did so both uncomplainingly and assiduously. He was an invaluable go-between when scheduling and negotiating with various trades and labourers, and seemed to be skilled in managing people both compassionately and effectively.

Richard has also been a most valuable aid in facilitating the continued smooth and seamless day-to-day operation of the clinic, and has on many occasions made himself available to assist us with various unforeseen issues that inevitably seem to arise with such projects. We have and continue to appreciate his active presence in our operation… I would unfailingly recommend Richard for such positions as he may apply involving construction, design, or project management. And I would similarly be willing to discuss verbally my very positive opinion of Richard, should you care to contact me.

Kind Regards,
